- How long have you known Mark?Since 1999
- Three words to describe Mark: Energizer, Encouraging, Coach
- Funny memory with Mark:
I remember how much we always laughed when leaders and Mark would pack into a vehicle and drive to Saranac for work week. All the way there, while we were there, and all the way back.
- How has Mark impacted your life?
Mark was there to encourage me when I was at a low point in my faith. I had been on property staff in FL and had recently returned to OH. With no longer being on property staff I had lost my sense of direction. Mark invited me to Rockbridge for a leader weekend. While there, thru his encouragement and thru God moving in me I realized I was going to enter the mission field as a YL leader. Went on to do so for 5yr in Perrysburg.
- What do you think Mark’s legacy will be? What is his lasting imprint on the world?
I don't think it can be answered yet. I truly believe he is talented enough to do many amazing things for God as long as he remains faithful. As a dad and husband and knowing how much Mark wanted those things I would venture to say that he would want to be remembered as a man who pleased God by how he loved his wife and children.
- Anything else you’d like to say to wish Mark Happy 50th Birthday!
Mark I love you and miss you man. Thank you for believing in me when I didn't and most of all for showing faithfulness to God in the everyday things. I pray a day comes soon when we can have fellowship and be encouraging to one another. If that does not happen this side of heaven, then I look forward to rejoicing together in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
